Guwan Seneviratne

family-16Guwan today – 2010, is a happy, energetic and musically talented 10 year old who thrives on reading, painting, poetry and writing creative stories. He plays piano and guitar. Guwan has a remarkable stamp collection and  a huge collection of Ghost stories. His favourite author is Paul Jennings. Guwan also is the owner of a substantial colletion of Buddhist statues as well as statues of various  Indian Gods. He has his own Shrine in which he displays his statues proudly.

The following information about Guwan’s interests and hobbies, is when he was much younger:

Guwan, the baby of the family was born in April 1999 at the Dandenong hospital in Victoria. He is a keen admirer of Indian dancers, and is a keen fan of all types of Indian music. Guwan now 3, known as ‘baba’ (baby) in the family had a passion for kangaroos and enjoyed watching the Wiggles and Arthur  almost daily. His favourite TV program as a baby was  Sailor Moon.

Guwan ‘s past time is drawing pictures of mum and dad and spending a lot of time colouring all kinds of pictures from colouring books. Guwan speaks Sinhalese and English and says that Lord Budhha is his favourite person next to mum. He says that he loves God Ganapathi and Goddess Saraswathi and Guwan always finds pictures of Hindu Gods totally fascinating.
